The Champion CT150STK Carbide-Tipped Stack Cutters are high-performance annular cutters engineered specifically for drilling stacked materials using magnetic drill presses. Unlike standard annular cutters designed for single thick plates, CT150STK cutters are optimized to maintain accuracy, stability, and clean hole quality when drilling through multiple layers of steel in one operation.
Each CT150STK cutter features precision-ground tungsten carbide teeth brazed to a hardened steel body and utilizes Champion’s triple-edge cutting system. This design delivers fast cutting speeds, superior wear resistance, and extended tool life compared to HSS annular cutters—especially when drilling stacked plate, structural members, or layered fabrication assemblies.
The annular cutting geometry removes only a thin ring of material, reducing heat buildup and cutting pressure while producing clean, burr-free holes across all layers. CT150STK cutters are compatible with magnetic drill presses and standard annular cutter arbors using pilot pins for accurate positioning and slug ejection.
