Return & Refund Policy

At Cutting Tools Outlet, we want every customer to order with confidence. We supply professional-grade industrial tools, and while returns are rare, we understand that issues can happen. This policy explains how returns, refunds, exchanges, and product issues are handled.

For any return or refund request, please contact us first at info@cuttingtoolsoutlet.com. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.


1. Return Window

Return requests must be submitted within 20 days of receiving your order.

All return requests require photo proof. This helps us review the condition of the product, confirm the issue, and handle the request as quickly and fairly as possible.


2. Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, the product must be:

  • Unused
  • In its original packaging
  • In resalable condition
  • Approved by our team before being sent back

If you are unsure whether a product is the right fit for your application, please contact us before ordering. Industrial cutting tools are application-specific, and choosing the wrong tool without confirming compatibility does not automatically qualify for a return.

Returns for customer ordering mistakes may be approved as a courtesy only when the product is unused, in original packaging, and approved by our team. Approved non-defective returns are refunded as store credit and are subject to a 15% restocking fee.


3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Used products
  • Products damaged by misuse, incorrect application, lack of lubrication, overheating, or improper technique
  • Products without original packaging
  • Products that have been modified, altered, cut, engraved, or customized
  • Opened or incomplete sets
  • Electrical products or machines that have been used

Special order, non-stock items, sale items, and clearance items may still be reviewed for return if they are unused, in original packaging, and approved by our team.


4. Customer Ordering Error

If the customer ordered the wrong product, size, or tool for the intended application, the customer is responsible for the return shipping cost.

If approved, the refund will be issued as store credit, less the 15% restocking fee.

To request approval, email info@cuttingtoolsoutlet.com with:

  • Your order number
  • The item(s) concerned
  • Clear photos of the product and packaging
  • A short explanation of the intended use and why the product does not fit the application

5. Defective Products or Abnormal Breakage

If a tool fails or breaks in a way that appears abnormal or defective, please contact us with clear photo proof of the damage and a description of how the tool was used.

We may ask for:

  • Photos of the damaged product
  • Photos of the application or material being cut
  • Details about the machine, speed, lubrication, and operating conditions

If the claim is approved, Cutting Tools Outlet may offer a refund, replacement, or store credit depending on the situation. For approved abnormal breakage claims, refunds are issued to the original payment method.

In most approved abnormal breakage cases, no physical return is required. We may ask the customer to destroy the tool following our instructions before the refund or replacement is processed.

We reserve the right to refuse refunds or replacements for damage caused by misuse, incorrect application, lack of lubrication, overheating, exceeding tool capacity, or improper drilling technique.


6. Wrong Product Shipped by Cutting Tools Outlet

If we shipped the wrong product, we will make it right at no charge.

After reviewing the issue, we will arrange the return of the incorrect item and ship the correct product. If a refund is required, it will be issued to the original payment method.

Please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and photos of the product received.


7. Exchanges

Exchanges are only available if the product is unused, in its original packaging, and approved by our team.

If the requested replacement item is more expensive, the price difference must be paid before the replacement is shipped. If the replacement item is less expensive, the difference may be issued as store credit.


8. Refund Processing Time

Once a return, refund, or claim is approved, refunds are processed within 10 business days.

Please note that your bank or credit card provider may take additional time to post the refund to your account.
