Champion SL Series 14° Taper Radius End Carbide Burs (SL1–SL7) — Controlled Tapered Profiling & Blending

The Champion SL Series 14° Taper Radius End Carbide Burs are precision rotary cutting tools engineered for controlled tapering, smooth profiling, and blend finishing in metalworking applications. Available in sizes SL1 through SL16, this series features a shallow 14° tapered body with a rounded end for gradual material removal and clean surface transitions.

Manufactured from premium solid carbide, SL series burs offer excellent rigidity, edge retention, and stability at high operating speeds. The gentle taper allows operators to work progressively across surfaces, while the radius end prevents gouging and harsh step marks when blending or refining profiles.

SL series carbide burs are optimized for die grinders and high-speed rotary tools and are commonly used in fabrication, mold and die work, toolrooms, and industrial maintenance where precision taper control is required.

Key Features

  • 14° tapered geometry for gradual, controlled material removal.
  • Radius end for smooth blending without sharp edge gouging.
  • Solid carbide construction for durability and high RPM stability.
  • Wide size range (SL1–SL16) for precision profiling and finishing.
  • Designed for die grinders and rotary tools.
