CGW C3 Green wheels use a high concentration of ceramic grain for grinding and finishing stainless steel, steel, hardfacing, titanium, Inconel and aluminum. CGW states that the wheels contain less than 0.1% iron, sulfur and chlorine. The two references listed on the series page have Type 27 construction, 1/8 inch thickness and ASL36P specification.
Choose 4-1/2 inch diameter with 7/8 inch arbor mounting or 5/8 inch-11 threaded hub. Arbor-mounted models are packed by 25 wheels; threaded-hub models by 10. Both references have a maximum wheel speed of 13,300 RPM.
Prices are per wheel and orders must be complete-box multiples. Use for grinding and finishing, not cut-off operations. Match the wheel type, diameter, mount and speed to compatible right-angle grinder equipment and the appropriate guard. Follow CGW instructions and actual wheel markings.
