Choose CGW resin cup wheels by abrasive grain and workpiece material. Aluminum oxide (A) models are for tough steel applications. Aluminum oxide/silicon carbide mix (CA) models are for castings, cast iron and aluminum. Silicon carbide (SC) models are for grinding and cleaning concrete, masonry and stone.
The series includes Type 11 wheels with or without steel backs, cup diameter pairs of 4/3, 5/4 and 6/4-3/4 inches, 2 inch height and 5/8 inch-11 threaded mounting. Maximum RPM varies by reference. Select compatible right-angle grinding equipment, the correct Type 11 cup wheel guard and mounting, and follow CGW instructions and actual wheel markings.
