How to Use
Clean the existing pipe thread, secure the workpiece and align the tap carefully. Apply suitable cutting fluid, turn the tap steadily with a compatible tap wrench and clear chips as needed. Do not force the tap or use it for heavy-duty new-thread production.
Carbon steel pipe taps are intended for light-duty re-threading and repair. Cutting tools may shatter if misused. Follow safe tapping procedures and wear eye protection and appropriate personal protective equipment. California Proposition 65 warning may apply.
