Champion 321 4-40 12-Pack HSS Spiral Point Gun Taps
321-4-40 is a Champion 4-40 spiral point tap, commonly called a gun tap, for medium duty through-hole tapping. It uses High-speed steel (HSS) and is supplied as a 12-tap pack.

How to Use
Use the correct pre-drill for the 4-40 thread, secure the workpiece and keep the tap aligned with the hole. Apply suitable cutting fluid, use the correct tapping speed and feed, and allow the spiral point to eject chips through the hole. Wear eye protection and appropriate personal protective equipment.
Spiral point taps are intended primarily for through holes. Cutting tools may shatter if misused. Follow the machine and tap manufacturer's operating instructions. California Proposition 65 warning may apply.
