Champion 800-1X82 1" 82° 4-Flute HSS Machine Countersink — Extended-Shank Countersink for Machine Shops
The 800-1X82 is an exact 1" 82° HSS machine countersink from Champion's 800 four-flute series. Its four cutting edges are designed for balanced, repeatable countersinking, chamfering and deburring of existing holes in production and machining environments.
This configuration combines a 1" cutting diameter, 82° included angle, 4-3/8 overall tool length and a 1/2" shank. The extended shank is intended for compatible screw machines, turret lathes and other rigid machine setups where reach, concentricity and a clean finish are important.

Applications
Use this Champion 800-1X82 countersink for machine countersinking, chamfering and deburring existing holes in steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, copper and other non-ferrous metals. It is suited to screw machines, turret lathes, drill presses, CNC equipment and other rigid setups using the correct speeds, feeds and cutting fluid.
Four-Flute Machine Countersinking
The four-flute geometry distributes cutting forces around the cone to support smooth cutting, consistent surface finish and reliable flat-head fastener seating. The exact 1" by 82° configuration helps match the tool to the required hole and countersink geometry without a visible variant selector.
Secure the workpiece, use the correct machine and arbor, and select speeds, feeds and lubricant for the material and tool diameter. Cutting tools may shatter if misused; wear appropriate PPE and follow the machine and tool manufacturer's instructions.
