Champion CM79-3/4 3/4" x 12" 1/2 inch Straight-Shank Rotary Rebar Cutter for Reinforced Concrete
CM79-3/4 is a Champion ProLine rotary rebar cutter for cutting embedded rebar after a standard bit reaches reinforcement in concrete. Its ultra-sharp carbide teeth, flutes and slot design support fast rebar removal.
This rebar cutter has a 3/4" diameter and 12" overall length. It uses a 1/2 inch straight shank and is designed for a compatible 1/2 inch chuck hammer drill.

Three-Step Operating Procedure
- Drill through the concrete with the appropriate standard hammer or masonry bit until rebar is reached.
- Replace the bit with this rebar cutter and operate in rotary mode only to cut through the rebar.
- After the rebar is cleared, replace the cutter with the original hammer or straight-shank bit to complete the concrete hole.
Do not use this rebar cutter to continue drilling concrete. Wear eye and hearing protection, secure the work area, control dust and follow the rotary hammer manufacturer's instructions.
