X1-XL5LH is a Champion heavy-duty left-hand drill and spiral screw extractor set. It combines five Brute XL5LH drills with five Champion X1 spiral flute extractors to help remove broken screws, studs, bolts and pipe fittings with right-hand threads.

How to Use
Secure the workpiece and select the recommended drill size for the broken fastener. Drill with the left-hand bit in reverse, then insert the correct X1 extractor into the pilot hole and turn counterclockwise with controlled hand-tool torque. Penetrating oil can help with rusty or corroded parts. Do not use an impact driver; wear eye protection and follow safe extraction practices.
Cutting tools and broken fasteners may chip or shatter if misused. Use the correct speed, feed, workholding and safety equipment for the material and machine.
