DWTET8X7/16-20 is a Drill America 7/16-20 x 8 in UNF HSS pulley extension tap. It is designed for tapping pulley hubs for oil caps or set screws, reaching recessed holes and creating new threads or re-threading damaged or jammed threads.
The long shank helps reach holes that are inaccessible with standard-length taps. Extension taps provide useful reach in maintenance, repair, machining and fabrication work where a standard tap cannot reach the hole.
