The Champion CT300 Carbide-Tipped Annular Cutters are engineered for deep, high-performance holemaking in the most demanding magnetic drilling applications. Featuring a 3″ depth of cut, the CT300 series is designed for thick plate, heavy structural steel, and stacked materials where standard annular cutters are not sufficient.

Each CT300 cutter is built with precision-ground tungsten carbide teeth brazed onto a hardened steel body and utilizes Champion’s triple-edge cutting system. This advanced design delivers exceptional cutting speed, superior heat resistance, and dramatically longer tool life compared to HSS annular cutters—especially in stainless steel, cast iron, and high-strength alloys.

The annular cutting geometry removes only a thin ring of material, reducing cutting pressure, heat buildup, and power consumption while producing clean, burr-free holes. CT300 cutters are optimized for use with magnetic drill presses and compatible annular cutter arbors using pilot pins for accurate positioning and slug ejection.

Materials & Applications

Use proper annular cutter arbor and pilot pin. Apply carbide-rated cutting lubricant such as BruteLube. Secure workpiece and wear appropriate PPE.
