The Champion QX1220 Drill/Chuck Adapter is a precision accessory designed to convert your Champion AC35 Magnetic Drill Press from annular cutter use to twist drill use. Ideal for applications where standard twist drills are required — such as pilot holes, fixture holes, or light metal drilling — the QX1220 adapter expands the versatility of your AC35 by allowing it to accept conventional drill bits.
Specifically engineered for the AC35, this adapter installs easily into the drill’s quick-change arbor and provides a secure mounting point for a standard drill chuck. Once fitted with an appropriate chuck, your AC35 magnetic drill can accommodate twist drills up to 3/4" diameter, expanding its utility beyond annular cutters.
