CGW Green Grind wheels use premium zirconia grain engineered for cooler working during grinding and stock removal on stainless steel, steel, hardfacing, titanium, Inconel and aluminum. CGW states that the wheels contain less than 0.1% iron, sulfur and chlorine. The seven references listed on the series page have Type 27 construction and ZA36 specification. Five models are 5/32 inch thick (CGW approximately .160 inch / 4 mm); two 4-1/2 inch models are 1/4 inch thick.
Choose 4-1/2, 5 or 7 inch diameter with 7/8 inch arbor mounting or 5/8 inch-11 threaded hub. Arbor-mounted models are packed by 25 wheels; threaded-hub models by 10. Maximum RPM varies by reference.
Prices are per wheel and orders must be complete-box multiples. Use for grinding and stock removal, not cut-off operations. Match the wheel type, diameter, mount and speed to compatible right-angle grinder equipment and the appropriate guard. Follow CGW instructions and actual wheel markings.
