How to Use
Clean the existing hole, align the tap carefully and use suitable cutting fluid. Turn the tap steadily with a compatible handheld tap wrench, backing off as needed to clear chips. Do not force the tap or use it for heavy-duty new-thread production.
Carbon steel hand taps are intended for light-duty re-threading and repair. Cutting tools may shatter if misused. Wear eye protection and appropriate personal protective equipment. California Proposition 65 warning may apply.
