Champion AC42 VariBrute Magnetic Drill Press, 1-1/2" x 2"
The Champion AC42 VariBrute is a versatile magnetic drill press with 1-1/2" cutter capacity and 2" depth of cut. Its drill-and-tap capability, variable speed and reverse operation make it suitable for fabrication, maintenance and structural steel work.
The AC42 is built for five cutting operations in one magnetic drill press. It can be used with annular cutters, twist drills, reamers, taps, and countersinks, making it a practical choice for users who need more flexibility than a basic mag drill. It accepts standard annular cutters with a 3/4" Weldon shank.
Powered by an 1100W motor, the Champion AC42 features 225–450 RPM variable speed with reverse, making it especially useful for tapping operations. It offers up to 1" twist drill capacity and 3/4" tap capacity, giving fabricators, contractors, and maintenance crews a strong all-around magnetic drill for demanding metalworking jobs.
