Drill America DWTH112-38NPT 3/8-18 NPT 1-1/2 in OD HSS Round Adjustable Pipe Die
DWTH112-38NPT is a Drill America high-speed steel round adjustable pipe die for making new 3/8-18 NPT external pipe threads and rethreading existing tapered pipe threads. NPT means National Pipe Taper, the pipe-thread form covered by this die. Its 1-1/2 in OD round profile is designed for use with a compatible die stock.
This uncoated HSS die combines hardness and toughness for general-purpose machinist, plumbing, maintenance and fabrication work. The adjustable round format and chamfered faces support controlled pipe-thread restoration when the die is kept square to the workpiece.
